Raised by a German immigrant father and a small town Canadian mother, K.C. and his siblings were taught to save money from an early age. To the young K.C. saving money did not translate into using the proverbial piggy bank but into an intense desire to learn how to make his hard earned money work for him.
Fueled by divergent interests, his various career paths taught him one great lesson. Money was not that hard to make – but investing it wisely and making it grow was a long road to master.
K. C. Staar works for the Canadian Oil and Gas Industry, a career that gives him great insight into the natural resources and environmental industries as well as ancillary R&D areas. He lives in Canada, is the married father of 3 and yes, all of his children’s higher education is now paid for and they are a far cry from University age.
